Episode 315 - August 21st, 2017

There is cause for concern when Gramps doesn't immediately respond to Rob posting a photo of Tawanda. Joe talks about Scott Apple, his donut orders, and his excitement about the eclipse. After Robby reaches out to some potential guests with maximum effort, Rob and Joe attempt to call one of the guys live. At a recent comedy show, Rob learns some new jargon and wonders if anyone else is familiar with these terms. Joe returns from South Carolina with two stories that seem unbelievable. One of Rob's high-profile friends has reached a new level of fame. Rob is inconsistent when enforcing the rules in class.




Episode 314 - August 14th, 2017

A Yelp review reinforces Joe's critique of O'MearaCast from last week. Dr. Gil wants some feedback on his latest material and he's willing to come on the show to test it. Rob is having trouble with another driver improvement class student. Joe appears on the Quality Time podcast in order to get some reassurances from the Woodworth brothers. Mac Bergson releases his summer power rankings. Die Laughing Production is killing it, but someone might be getting the axe. The Bachelorette results are in, and Joe is reluctant to talk about it. Rob has a hypothetical inspired by Game of Thrones. Robby is excited to hear that his favorite TV talk show host is coming out of retirement.




Episode 313 - August 7th, 2017

Following three new revelations about Scott Apple's amazing lack of knowledge, Rob is desperate to get him back on the show. This season of The Bachelorette (and the fantasy league) come to a close, and still Robby is pleading innocent after crushing the competition. Robby has become far too busy for the show. Joe takes exception to the handling of OmearaCast by couple of the frequent guest hosts. Rob's suspicions about a former driving class student are confirmed when the man is arrested. The addition of a new member to the fantasy football league is making Joe nervous. When a friend and comedy colleague of Rob and Joe collapses during a performance, a different MORE network show gets the exclusive interview. Rob gets a bad report on one of the crew members when he returns to a murder mystery venue to perform stand-up. Joe is making plans for the move into Gramp's house.




Episode 312 - July 31st, 2017

A comedy cohort (and former show fill-in host) goes nuclear when sees what he thinks is a Game of Thrones spoiler on social media. Joe is exhausted from his politics-filled Twitter feed and the relentless anti-Trump tirade. Joe returns to doing standup over the weekend and inadvertently says something that completely turns the audience against him. The next murder mystery will feature a woman very familiar to listeners, but who has never actually appeared in one of the shows. Another member of the crew proposes a bigger role for himself. A horror convention creates a potential conflict for a new cast member, and Joe is flummoxed when he reads the list of "stars" scheduled to appear. One venue is taking liberties with Die Laughing Productions marketing materials and Robby takes issue with it. Katie's entertaining father is eager to take a puzzling part-time job. Rob just can't have a certain word in his music and is frustrated by the dwindling availability of the radio-friendly versions of songs.




Episode 311 - July 24th, 2017

Rob and Joe wonder about listener habits, and receive many kudos for their recent TMOS appearance. There are a lot of ideas proposed for improving the show, but they require Robby to do more work. Rob is getting increasingly frustrated at the response to his jokes on social media. The "millennial" hustler is still getting into places he doesn't belong. Joe gets outed for lying to a fan. Gramps is up to his old tricks. Rob and Joe aren't getting any reassurances about the wild card they cast in the new murder mystery. The reporter who interviewed Rob barely mentioned him in the final article, but Joe is the one who is the most critical. Marcus is grilled about the future of O'MearaCast in light of his recent fill-in host's performance.

Episode 309 - July 17th, 2017

Michael Chamberlin returns to answer questions about his life over the past year, and talks movies with Mara Reinstein once again. This week's show is a special landmark; but it seems that the more episodes are accumulated, the more the conversations remain unchanged. As if it weren't bad enough that Rob had an under-attended show, he may have actually been responsible for costing the bar money. Robby is super-annoyed with the cameo on the season premiere of Game of Thrones. Rob revisits a stunt that Joe pulled in the past, marveling at it in retrospect, and wonders if they might be repeating the same mistake. Joe does eventually learn his lesson about chatting with strangers, but it takes at least two times repeating that mistake.




Episode 308 - July 10th, 2017

There is tension between the brothers before the show even starts. The Robinson family was all together during 4th of July week and Joe has plenty to say about Gramps and Robby. Rob piles on after reading Robby's most recent Yelp review. Die Laughing Productions will be kicking off a major run at a new venue, but Robby wants no part of that weekend's events due to the painful memory of being overlooked one year ago this month. Rob and Joe are stunned to hear what Robby has planned for his dog this fall. Rob spent his holiday at National Harbor, then later that week performed with his protégé Dr. Gil whose comedy he half-heartedly promotes. An ill-prepared, novice reporter interviews Rob for a local free paper. The man who never paid Rob for his Mocovox videos is in the news.




Episode 307 - June 26th, 2017

Die Laughing Productions is on a roll just off three stellar shows including stand-out performances from two people well-known to the MORE network; plus Robby is doing his best to win the favor of a third who attended. Rob is praising Mac Bergson's co-hosting job on O'MearaCast, and has suggestions of some others who might be good on the show. Joe believes there was an oversight on a recent TMOS episode. Rob shares a brand new Gramps story. Comedian Andy Kline joins to show to promote his new comedy CD "Vintage" and share memories of his brother who was instrumental in the development of his sense of humor.

Episode 305 - June 19th, 2017

Rob explains the saga behind episode 305. In the news; Robby was correct in predicting the return of "Bachelor in Paradise", and Joe's favorite actor claims he is retiring from making movies. Marcus touts the greatest O'MearaCast episode to date. Robby sends out a mean tweet under the show account to a big supporter of Rob and Joe. Rob finds his niche on social media posting about the Bill Cosby trial, but he really angers a Facebook "friend". Joe and Katie are moving into a new place with a familiar roommate. Rob and Joe try to guess what happened in the hours following the departure of Robby's houseguest. There is a new t-shirt, and Robby isn't happy. Rob and Joe try to understand the logistics of how Michael Phelps will race a shark, but everyone agrees on what the stunt should have been instead. Joe closes the show with a quick Gramps story.




Episode 304 - June 12th, 2017

Rob is just back from Syracuse where he worked with Rob Schneider. He stopped at Arby's on the way home, and Joe explains why he is boycotting the fast food chain. Joe also rails against the decline of a popular Netflix show as well as some programming on the Food Network. Rob resents the growing popularity of Joe's Twitter account. The so-called "Comedy Koala" inspires Rob to step-up his game, especially on merch. Rob promotes a murder mystery show through Groupon, which may have drawn the wrong kind of audience. Even the cast members are seemingly trying to sabotage the show. Joe analyzes the "Bachelor in Paradise" controversy and Robby sheds light on the topic. Joe puts his foot in his mouth once again because he didn't learn his lesson the first time he said the exact same thing to someone. There is big news regarding the Kuwait trip. Robby is taken to task, and Marcus is grilled about the O'Mearacast co-hosts.




Episode 303 - June 5th, 2017

Netflix documentary "The Keepers" is yet another media piece feeding the national image problem of Baltimore. Rob and Joe argue about what constitutes a joke. Joe feels that Robby is borrowing Dan Nainan's style in his defense against the cheating accusations. Rob plays a multiple choice game with a brand new Gramps story. Joe attends a wedding where several things happen that defy logic. Rob poses some hypothetical questions about Joe's hypothetical wedding. Katie's father continues to mess with Joe in unbelievable fashion. Rob is un-friending like a fiend, so don't give him any excuse.




Episode 302 - May 29th, 2017

Some money is still on the table left there from a long-forgotten bit, but Rob and Joe are unsure of who the rightful owner is. Rob and Joe pay tribute to the listener (and former reservist) known as “Eric the Actor”, whose untimely passing revealed the man’s true identity. Joe’s former radio partner owes a debt of gratitude to Robby after landing a morning show in a top 5 market. Another former 98 Rock employee also announces a new on-air gig. Joe on the other hand, is losing a show. Two people well-known to listeners meet, and form an instant connection based on their love of breaking Joe’s balls. Tiger Woods’ recent arrest leads to an analysis of the most colossal celebrity downfalls. A friend/former landlord is feeding Joe a wealth of stats to further taint Robby’s Bachelorette fantasy record. Rob loses an audience by making fun of one of its members, and then another begs to be the target of his jokes as some kind of foreplay. Rob runs into the women to whom he lost his virginity and claims she is still as good looking as she was in high school. Rob details an emcee’s recent performance whom Joe told to quit comedy many years ago. A Walgreens cashier’s choice of vacation spots is questionable. Joe is being punished for the behavior of one of his kids and Marcus is outraged.




Episode 301 - May 22nd, 2017

Rob and Joe debate how the success of a comedian is measured in this era of social media. Rob may have figured out the identity of "Eric The Actor". Joe is convinced that Robby is already cheating at Bachelorette fantasy before the first episode has even aired. What has Robby done with episode 300? Die Laughing Productions is going to Kuwait, but Robby has a lot of reasons why you shouldn't plan a trip there. An SNL alum ruins Rob’s planned weekend of comedy in Syracuse.
