Episode 240 - April 18th, 2016 Right before the show there is breaking news of a celebrity death. Rob and Joe get feedback on which one of them is possibly the most-liked by someone in the MORE family. Rob is worried that Joe is alienating certain audience members at the end of the murder mystery show. Joe sees himself as someone who can converse with all types of people, but with one particular person he finds it very difficult. Rob is concerned for the safety of himself and his girlfriend when he receives some disturbing emails. Joe finds Rob’s reaction utterly ridiculous. Tony Perkins’ live podcast event is bringing everyone together in DC, including Marcus who might be an alcoholic. Joe is stunned to discover that Rob knows nothing about a literary classic that’s spawned multiple feature films and adaptations for television. Joe is surprised by what he finds when finally visits Rob’s new home. Joe’s long-time nemesis reaches out to the local comedy community with a high-paying gig. |
Episode 239 - April 11th, 2016 Robby returns and has plenty to say about the new murder mystery and donations to the show. Joe is put on the spot about something he did that is potentially more weird than Rob neglecting to introduce his father. Rob wonders why Katie’s social media is glaringly missing photos of Joe. Following Joe’s outing with the Spewaks, there is a lot of discussion about attending concerts past and present. One fan of the show has a deep secret about her first concert that has everyone very curious. Tom Arnold is still being a tool. Rob reports on his breakout gig with Kevin Hart. Plus; Rob once again makes himself a target on Facebook, there’s an update on Gramps and Rob and Joe are “highlighted” on the TMOS bonus show. |
Episode 238 - April 5th, 2016 This week Rob has a one-two punch of announcements including something with a MORE Broadcasting sister show. More fallout from Tom Arnold who now seems obsessed with Joe. Rob bought something new that will get him outside more. Gramps might be an alien. The turtle steals the latest murder mystery show. Girlfriend Katie has a sexy new dress, but Joe won’t be with her when she wears it. How much would Joe take to wear an awful wig all year long? Is Rob about to leave Joe in the dust with this week’s major announcement? |
Episode 237 - March 28th, 2016 Even without actually participating in the show, Robby’s pessimistic attitude can have an effect. Donations are pouring into the show, and the listeners have spoken with regard to how the money should be spent. The Listener of the Year also submitted another homemade network promo that is unflattering to Joe. The critics and the public seem to be split on Superman v Batman. Rob and Joe haven’t seen the movie, but that doesn’t stop them from having an opinion as well. Rob heard a rumor about Joe and so he confronts him with the information on the show. Joe is learning the hard way the old show biz saying about not working with kids and animals. Joe is happy about taking his son to see The Who, even though their age is really starting to be a detriment. |
Episode 236 - March 22nd, 2016 The fallout from the Tom Arnold drama is goes further than just a string of angry tweets. The Listener of the Year made a substantial donation to the show, but a consensus cannot be reached about what to do with the money. Joe travels to Vegas during March Madness and enrages another gambler at the poker table. The former show announcer, also on the trip, has completely different concept than Joe about how to have a good time there. Joe gets “airsick” before his flight back to Baltimore even leaves the gate. Rob is curious about how warm a welcome Joe received from his girlfriend. Rob and Joe try to predict how Makuku will perform at Rob’s open mic. Tommy Sinbazo is hitting it out of the park with the costumes for the upcoming murder mystery. |
Episode 235 - March 14th, 2016 Over the weekend Joe opened for Tom Arnold and Rob did the same for Pauly Shore. Joe may have performed with the more successful celebrity, but it was clearly the worse of the two gigs. Rob reaches out to Makuku who seems oblivious not only to the discussion about him last week, but to Joe’s email as well. Rob seems concerned that the biggest nerd they know is actually much cooler than he is. The murder mystery cast carpooling to Virginia Beach seemed like a good idea on paper. Rob and Tommy drove separately, but had fun speculating about the behavior of the other group. Rob ruminates about pubic hair and marriage proposals following some incidents during the week’s stint. Marcus has an update on his heath scare, and goes into some interesting details about his physical therapy. |
Episode 234 - March 7th, 2016 On National Cereal Day, Rob and Joe both lament being denied the sugary options as kids. Joe misses chastising the Comedy Factory stand-up competition entrants this year after relinquishing the administrative duties to a colleague. Joe is still talking about Rob’s weird behavior in Winchester and the results of the poll are revealed. Rob and Joe think a well-known comedian’s comments on Donald Trump (and extreme labels in general) are counterproductive and possibly dangerous. When Joe goes to see a parade he remembers how much he dislikes them. Joe is excited about some upcoming concert plans. Joe is asked to participate in a political talk show again even though he is under-informed and refuses to read any prep. Rob is having anxiety about the Virginia Beach murder mystery show and another event that is possibly being promoted the wrong way. Joe shares his thoughts on Fuller House. |
Episode 233 - February 29th, 2016 An engagement announcement on TMOS eclipses any discussion of the successful murder mystery in Leesburg. Rob once again sniffing-out controversies in the comedy community on Facebook gets un-friended and blocked in two separate confrontations. When Joe buys ballet tickets for his girlfriend’s birthday, he doesn’t get quite what he bargained for. Joe discovers that commercial breaks on BET are excessive. Joe reviews Chris Rock’s hosting effort, the winners and the losers at the 88th Annual Academy Awards. The energy at Friday’s murder mystery in Leesburg was so electric that some of the cast got a little carried away. After the show, one of the performers shared stories of his many fights as a youth, but Rob and Joe can’t really relate. Rob revisits the topic of not introducing his father to Joe after being criticized on O’MearaCast.

Episode 232 - February 22nd, 2016 This show rocks! Robby isn't here which as always brings some anxiety. Scott Apple names some of the most famous black musical artists like Barry Manilow. The Newlydead Game was a big success, but Rob didn't introduce his dad to Joe. What's up with that? A participant in the murder mystery didn't get the joke and Joe shares more fun from the event. A new segment is suggested: "How much will Katie charge?" What do you think? Joe is going to be rocking out...to Baby Metal! There is even more so listen closely.

Episode 231 - February 15th, 2016 The jury has reached its verdict in Robby’s Bachelor fantasy league cheating trial. The validity of Joe’s “curse” is once again reinforced by the most recent celebrity death. Joe defends the age-gap between himself and his girlfriend. Following their most recent TMOS appearance, Rob and Joe examine the possibility that Mike O’Meara may not like one on them. Many stories emerge from the two murder mystery shows over the Valentine’s Day weekend, including one about Joe yelling at some attendees afterward and another about an apparent proposition. This leads to an impromptu inquisition of Joe’s girlfriend. Rob and Joe also announce the name of their next script, which they may have made overly complicated. When Joe announce that he is going to see Carrie Underwood in concert, he is stunned to discover that Scott Apple doesn’t know who that is.

Episode 230 - February 8th, 2016 Robby is enthusiastic about couponing. Rob and Joe expand on last week’s conversation about Cam Newton following his big loss on Sunday. Rob talks about his stint in Richmond, and the story of a comedian stealing someone else’s story for his own material. Joe gets manhandled when meeting Wendi Townsend’s new boyfriend for the first time. Robby goes on trial for cheating at The Bachelor fantasy contest. Scott Apple guests on the show as the trial lawyer, but gets humor almost as much as he gets music. Rob reads finalist’s entries in the “worst valentine’s day story” contest. Joe is overwhelmed by all the work surrounding the full schedule of upcoming murder mystery shows.

Episode 229 - February 2nd, 2016 Joe is sick and he is certain that Robby is bent out of shape over the last-minute schedule changes that were made because of it. Marcus gives his thoughts on the show at the Mohegan Sun and talks about getting called-out as a racist over his new Rob Maher t-shirt. Rob and Joe find it absurd that people are painting Cam Newton as a polarizing figure who must break racial barriers. During a discussion about the woman who got a waferless Kit Kat, Marcus is exposed as a chocolate elitist. Justin Schlegel gives the performance of his life in spite of being emotional drained when arriving for the most recent murder mystery show. Former show announcer, and notorious perv, Tim introduces Rob and Joe to a new high-tech version of the peep show booth. This leads another fascinating revelation from Marcus.

Episode 228 - January 25th, 2016 Once again Rob leaves town for a gig, leaving his girlfriend to do the heavy lifting. Joe’s sudden move becomes complicated by the blizzard. Robby’s “Bachelor” fantasy league picks seem a little too good. Rob is eager to impress Marcus with his performance at Mohegan Sun and gets treated like he’s important hanging with his new celebrity friend. Joe explains why being provided with a driver and a hotel room as an essential employee for a top market radio station is not as glamorous as it sounds. Episode 227 - January 18th, 2016 The show begins with a conversation about the passing of Glenn Frey and his legacy, and then Rob makes it weird. Marcus has some questions about audience etiquette for the upcoming Mohegan Sun comedy show he plans to attend. Joe’s ego requires that he rub elbows with audience members after he performs well, but this practice backfires when one woman approached him at a recent show. Rob wonders if Joe is doing a satisfactory job of plugging their projects. Rob and Joe agree with a new study’s conclusion that comedians, as a group, demonstrate psychotic tendencies. Rob is confused by the overnight stardom of an actor. Marcus is finally called-out for screwing around the show ending music. Joe has a coincidence involving a professional hula hooper.

Episode 226 - January 11th, 2016 Rob ingratiating himself with a well-known actor/comedian leads to a prime casino gig. Joe, feeling pressure to complete the next murder mystery script, works on it without Rob who is not thrilled about it. Joe rails against those who would make snap judgments about a person’s bigotry. The two recent examples he cites of those wrongly maligned are Sylvester Stallone and Joe himself. Robby shows his competitive side. Joe is very pleased with himself and brags about his public mocking of the Vikings’ crushing loss. Mike Chamberlin submits his version of the now infamous rant. The recent murder mystery show at the DC Improv was a huge success in spite of Joe picking an audience member to participate could barely read. Nothing goes right for Rob during his recent trip to perform at the Incirlik Air Base in Turkey.
